Workshops
We hold small workshops at different times of the year in which you spend a creative two and a half hour session working with natural flowers, foliage, seed heads and grasses... all from the garden and hedgerows here in Toot Baldon.
Workshops can be arranged for a morning, afternoon or early evening. Minimum of 5 participants, maximum of 8. Refreshmets are provided and the atmosphere is relaxed, fun and creative. Price: £60pp.

June & July
Hand tied bouquets.
Learn to make a beautiful hand tied bunch of fresh flowers straight from the garden in this creative flower workshop. You'll learn tips on how to cut and condition flowers, how to create structure, texture and highlights in your bunch. There will be an abundance of foliage and flowers to choose from, all collected from the garden. We will work in the garden amongst the flower borders and cutting beds.
August & September
Everlasting Dried flower garlands
Learn to make a beautiful everlasting garland with dried flowers in this creative wreath making workshop. You'll use a hand woven wreath base made of dogwood, hazel or snowberry and a variety of carefully selected dried flowers and foliage to create a unique and beautiful dried wreath to take home. You'll learn tips on how to create a natural wreath base and how to dry your own flowers. You can even collect flowers from the garden and include them in your wreath to dry in place.
November & December
Festive Winter Wreaths
Learn to make a beautiful winter wreath in this creative winter wreath making workshop. You'll use a hand woven wreath base made of hazel, snowberry or dogwood, and a selection of hedgerow foliage, dried flowers and seed pods, to create a unique and beautiful festive wreath. You'll learn tips on what best to use on an indoor wreath or an outdoor wreath and how to refresh foliage to keep your wreath looking good. Also tips on how to make a natural wreath base and how to dry your own flowers.
